Abortion/Adoption
I don't know if anyone ever comes to this xanga cite anymore because i rarely write on here anymore. But today I have something to say and I am going to write it.
I don't understand prochoicers and I guess I never will. I don't think they will ever understand prolifers either because they have never been adopted. If they have been adopted or did adopt then I don't know how they could ever be prochoice. If it wasn't for the people being prolife I would never be here. That in its self is very scary to me.
I was one of the fortunate ones that was adopted into a loving family. I beleive that there is no excuse for the people who had bad child hood experiences to live as bad adults. There is always a choice right! A choice to do good with the rest of their lives. In America it is built on choice and rights of the individual. People with good or bad child hoods have the choice to better themselves because we live in America and what they choose is entirely their own doing. Even people who immigrated to America have the choice to better themselves and have done so. It is our choices with our lives that we can have happiness or sadness. But isn't it also the right of the American society to protect the weak and helpless. Where is the right of the unborn? Where are the laws that are supposed to protect them? There are laws to protect the rights of almost everything else. How can we call ourselves human when we are no less than animals killing our young before they are hatched oops I mean born.
Embryos are potential humans. You can't have one without the other. So explain to me how an embryo is not a human being? Sure the embryo can't think intellectualy and talk intellectualy yet their embryos just like babies but they are not killed off because they inconvenience us. Sure they can't speak for themselves but babies and children and teens up to 17 can't speak for themselves either. Only at age 18 are they considered adults. It is the right of the parents to choose what is best for their children. But some parents don't know what is good for their children and do bad things to them like sexual abuse, physical abuse, mental abuse and ignoring them or even murdering them and aborting them. Isn't murder and abortion the same but at different stages in life? If not explain to me how it isn't the same thing.
There are laws to protect the abused and neglected but not abortion. No, not abortion because we are a country of free will, but what about justice and liberty for all? As the people of the United States of America are we not supposed to protect the weak and the defenseless? I don't think so!
Embryos, the first step to adulthood shouldn't someone more stronger and bigger to protect them too? You say what about the raped woman and the sexually abused young woman? It is sad and disgusting, yes! But even though this horrible wrong has been done to you won't it be far more horrible to kill another in vengence or despair? Babies are a gift even if they are created in wrong doing. Embryos, babies and young children are innocent beings and once you start killing them at the first stage in life; how humane are we when we kill the innocent? Those embryos had no choice in the wrong doing but why are they being punished?
I have never been raped and withchild from it and I dont want to sound insensitive but it's all true! (The killing of the innocent in anger.) If it had happened to me and all the people around me would shun me I would still have that child so that it can have the choice of what it does with the rest of it's life and where it isn't my choice at all whether it should live or die. If those people would shun me then I would say they are ignorant and stupid and lower than animals themselves. The embryo inside of me would grieve me and remind me of the pain I suffered but life goes on.
People are reminded of the pain and suffering from other experiences and they are still alive and living semi-happy lives. There is no such thing as a storybook ending in reality. We live in a suffering world. Yet people go on living. I have suffered too, when I was barely even one years old and I carry the scars to prove it. I see those scars everyday but I don't dwell in my sorrow but continue on. If people were not able to have horrible things happen to them and not live on then how on earth are there billions and billions of people on earth now? They have all suffered in one way or another. There is no rating of one to ten in suffering it is all the same. The acheing feeling that brings tears to the eyes and sadness to the heart. Yet, somehow we all live on.
With the decrease of people aborting their children it gives the people who are barren a chance to have children. There would be less traumatic experiences from the mutilating that happens when aborting a human being. From what I have seen and observed from mothers and children there is a connection that no man nor any woman that hasn't birthed a child could ever experience. I never experienced it but I see it in others and I am in awe! So, when I hear stories about woman who have aborted and that it was a mistake and the pain or loss they have when it is over I connect that with the loss of a loved one and when that connection you had with that loved one is severed. It hurts a lot! If we can eliminate the pain that is self-inflicted through abortion wouldn't it be a better world? I would hope so! Not ever haveing to feel that pain because of the limitations of law in having an abortion.
If the United States of America banned abortion and there were no more people able to conduct this horrible act the world would still go on. Woman would be less likely to abort because of the risks of life and death if they attempted it themselves or had others try it. The abortion rate would go down because of no availability, penalty by law, and it would be costly because they would have to travel to another country in secret.
What if that one human being that was aborted could have been the one to find the cure for cancer or some other amazing thing. Now more innocent human beings are dying. How sad is that when those murdered by abortion/mothers are dead before they get any chance to do what they want to do with their lives while others die of their own accord like: smoking, eating unhealthy, not exercising, suicide, etc. How is that justice and liberty for all?
Those are my thoughts on why people should stop abortion and start adopting those innocent human beings. I am extremely thankfull that I am here today! I know there are others out there too. My life isn't perfect but at least I get to choose what I do with it! Isn't that the American way? Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Thank You! to those who take the time to read all these thoughts. I am not telling you that this is what you should believe but that it opens your mind to other thoughts and if it does change your stand on abortion then great! I would love to hear your thoughts both negative and positive.
